was created after the founder, Michael Clough of Moultonborough, NH,
discovered a need for a reliable contracting and maintenance company
where home owners were the most important part of the company. A
company that responded quickly and efficiently to the immediate needs
of those who would otherwise be left to perform repairs and maintenance
themselves, or worse be left to deal with poor quality contractors that
tend to fill the gap that is left when all the good contractors are
unavailable. Today there are many home owners with real needs that most contractors just won't consider as viable projects. These contractors are to busy trying to compete for the big jobs thinking they won't have to look for work for 6-12 months. In the mean time these contractors are racing through the project they are currently on because the budget or time line is running on empty. This is a big cause for much of the questionable work practices that many home owners are faced with every day when dealing with contractors. The contractor ends up cutting corners and taking short cuts to save time and money. On top of this the only available contractors for the home owner are questionable to say the least. The home owner must deal with either doing the project themselves or they are forced to hire a contractor that they would otherwise have never hired. All of our subcontractors know upfront that we will back our customers first and foremost and if needed we will remove bad subs from or network without hesitation. We primarily offer services almost anywhere in NH as well as the Connecticut River Valley and the Saco River Valley. As our company grows we will offer more services in more locations. Always check the credentials of your prospective contractor. Ask about insurance and ask to see photos of work. You are responsible for verifying the information your contractor gives you. It only takes a few minutes and you will know what you are getting. Never haggle for cheap when investing in your home. Cheap is exactly that... CHEAP. Cheap means problems that will cost more to fix once you cover them up. Pay to have it done right and your experience will be much nicer. Ask your contractor every question that is relevant to your project. Be cautious of wasting the contractors work time talking as you are paying for him to work not talk. A way to get your questions answered is to ask your questions via email or writing them on a piece of paper that you can give to the contractor at the end of the day. A good contractor will answer all of your questions. |
