Tree Removal
Sometimes, despite your greatest efforts at rejuvenation, a tree dies
and must be removed. Symptoms of a thoroughly dead tree (one which bas
been overcome by disease or insects) include a lack of foliage in the
spring and falling limbs throughout the year. Such trees will not
recover, are hazardous and could cause considerable damage to
surrounding structures if not removed promptly. Do not trust tree
removal to anyone other than a professional tree care company you can
trust. Tree
Service’s highly trained professionals will provide complete
and safe tree removal services.
Tree Pruning
& Tree Trimming
Tree pruning or tree trimming should be done regularly to control its
shape and keep branches from harming surrounding structures or people.
Tree pruning & tree trimming should always be performed
sparingly. Overpruning a tree is extremely harmful because without
enough leaves, a tree cannot gather and process enough sunlight to
survive. In some cases, however, tree pruning & tree trimming
is absolutely necessary because damaged limbs pose a threat to other
healthy parts of the tree or surrounding structures.
Tree pruning & tree trimming also directs the growth pattern of
a tree. A tree's branches typically grow in the direction that the buds
are pointing, and the outermost bud on a tree branch has the most
influence on the direction of future growth. Therefore, you can control
the orientation of a tree branch by carefully selecting the pruning
cut's location. Cut so that the outermost bud on the branch is pointing
in the direction that you want the branch to grow. has
the
experience you can trust and rely on to properly prune and trim your
trees.
A healthy tree will seal on its own, so wound dressings, which may
actually interfere with this process, are not necessary. To aid in the
recovery of cuts, water and fertilize your trees well. If you are not
confident in the particular pruning needs of your tree, give a
call

Stump Grinding
Homeowners
and businesses who have had a tree cut down on their property often
find themselves with the left behind tree stump to contend with.
Stumps left behind from tree cutting can be variously described as
unsightly, they detract from the beauty of a well cared for
lawn, take up valuable gardening space, and are
often hazardous.
Tree stumps are constant tripping hazards, they wreak
havoc with lawn and garden equipments and provide a haven to a host of
insects like caprenter ants.

Quick answers to some general
questions can be found in the section.
Q: How much
does stump grinding cost?
A: With
a minimum site charge of $105.00. A general rule of cost
estimation for grinding stumps is a set rate per inch measured
at
ground level.
Now the
exceptions- stumps may be more if stump was not cut low
enough to the ground, and requires chainsawing, or the terrain around
the stumps creates a difficult grinding environment, ie: stones and
other obstructions, or if exposed root chasing is required, etc.
On the positive side of pricing the
larger the job, (the more stumps needing grinding) the lower
the cost per inch will be. We also give consideration to
repeat customers and those who refer work to for Stump Grinding Services.
Q:
What is left when grinding is done?
A: A wood
chip mat with the consistancy of large sawdust will be left 2'
to 10' around the stump. Most people want this raked over the hole.
These shavings reduce in volume very quickly when exposed to rain and
weather. The addition of top soil or loom makes a very good foundation
for seeding. Shavings could be removed for an additional cost.
Top soil and seeding is also available for an additional charge.
Q:
Will you bring your equipment and come out for just one small
stump?
A: Yes, of course. We do have a minimum
charge, but we are in the people pleasing business and we are here to
perform a service. We may hold off scheduling your job until
it can be combined with other small jobs to make it more cost
effective. This keeps our costs and your prices down.

Tips
Always check the credentials of your prospective contractor.
Ask
about insurance and ask to see photos of work. You are responsible for
verifying the information your contractor gives you. It only
takes a few minutes and you will know what you are getting.
Never hagle for cheap when investing in your home. Cheap is
exactly that... CHEAP. Cheap means problems that will cost
more
to fix once you cover them up. Pay to have it done right and
your
experience will be much nicer.
Ask your contractor every question that is relevant to your project.
Be cautious of wasting the contractors work time talking as
you
are paying for him to work not talk. A way to get your
questions
answered is to ask your questions via email or writing them on a piece
of paper that you can give to the contractor at the end of the day.
A good contractor will answer all of your questions.
